This series is a case of, I liked the premise but the constant piling on of depressing drama was draining to read. Only very brief moments, swamped in decades of depressing heartache, angst and stupid selfishness. The author just never gives the couple in her books any real time together, just enjoying each other.

But mostly this was depressing and repetitive with unbelievable situations. So giving 2.5 stars for those, which is probably generous. I did like some parts of this, mostly Hawk's scenes, him coming across ZZ was a great scene.

But having said that the writing isn't bad. There are missing words and grammatical problems etc and a lack of depth and lots of missing details. This author also does not write decent bedroom scenes. And then after waiting almost twenty years for her to figure out that Jase will never pick her, he waits another eight years, even when she is no longer with Jase. The author is also inconsistent with her own character's natures, because it's just not believable that Hawk, an Alpha male, would not take what he wants, Dorothy. Yet this author once again doesn't care about facts, she seems to just want to create the most depressing situations fir her characters, even when theyre ridiculous and unvelievable. Hawk going to prison for his father's crimes is a huge injustice, one that surely wouldn't happen. But it doesn't make sense and even the lawyer says that Hawk has not been apart of the Russian mob since he was eighteen and he wouldn't have any information on the mobs activities. How Hawk going to prison brings down the Russian mob boss isn't detailed? Only stated and the reader is just supposed to accept that. There are several other holes in this plot. Just like in book 1, where Deuce only finally wises up and settles down with Eva when he's in his late fifties, Hawk and Dorothy don't get together until their mid to late fifties either. He was the only part of the book I liked. She doesn't see the potential for real love with Hawk. As for Dorothy, I found her pathetic, pining away and wasting her life crying for Jase, a man who clearly won't leave his wife. He could have still being a father to his kids, and friend to his wife. Jase throws his wife and children away, destroying all their lives by cheating with Dorothy, instead of just manning up and getting a divorce. Gail McHugh, New York Times best-selling authorĢ.5 stars for Hawk and a few other scenes but mostly this series is depressing, unrealistic and about unlikable, selfish, characters who do stupid things, wasting decades of time. A single breathing entity working in tandem against the cruelty that is their world, every character in the Undeniable Series will become a piece of you, embedding themselves into your thoughts for years to come.” Heartbreak, grief, and finding strength and healing through family is the foundation of this emotional saga. “In an untouchable league of her own, Madeline Sheehan has created a riveting tale of ugly, forbidden love turned beautifully right. Jennings, New York Times and USA Today best-selling author Madeline Sheehan set every single emotion within me on fire with a blowtorch.” “I have never been so beautifully uncomfortable than when reading the Undeniable Series. It is up to us to dig ourselves out, to come to terms with our faults, to embrace not only our imperfections but those of the ones we love, and to once again find the path we strayed from. Our mistakes that beat us down and cover us in guilt and shame, burying us a little more with each passing hardship. We are all born pure it is our journey that burdens us and leads us astray. This is the story of Dorothy, Jase, and Hawk. What follows is a long and painful journey of self-discovery and forgiveness, as Dorothy comes to realize that home was exactly where she’d left it, and the love she’d forever craved had always been within her reach. And as Dorothy patiently waits for Jase to give her the happily-ever-after she’s been dreaming about, James “Hawk” Young, a member of the Hell’s Horsemen with secrets of his own, sees an opening into Dorothy’s life and takes it. Then hope comes riding into her life on a motorcycle and within weeks, Jason “Jase” Brady, a member of the Hell’s Horsemen motorcycle club, sweeps Dorothy off her feet.īut nothing is ever simple for Dorothy. Instead she finds herself pregnant at fifteen, and in a loveless marriage by the tender age of eighteen. It involves one woman and two men bound by a love so destructive it spans two decades, pitting brother against brother, and shattering the lives of those touched by it.ĭorothy Kelley is a born romantic, searching for her prince. Warning: This is not a conventional or predictable love story.
